Pamela and Peter’s wedding at Hautbois Hall
Earlier this year I had the pleasure of documenting my first wedding at Hautbois Hall in North Norfolk. A beautiful twilight wedding with an incredible couple.
An stunning venue.
Can I just start off by saying, holy sh*t! Hautbois Hall is beautiful! I had heard of this venue before, but this was my first opportunity to photograph a wedding here. If you are looking for a venue definitely make sure to check it out, especially if you’re after an outdoors wedding. I’m not being paid to sponsor a venue or anything I just want to scream it from the mountaintops “I LOVE HAUTBOIS HALL!”.
Get in touch with me if you got that reference.
Their website link will be at the end of this blog post if you want to check them out.

Girlie time. Preparations.
Sometimes I walk into prep and everyone’s a little quite with obvious nervous energy in the room. There was zero of that with Pamela and the girls. Music was on, the food was out and champagne was being poured. Personally, I love to feed off of that type of energy.
The benefits of a second photographer. Let’s catch-up with the lads.
Pamela and Peter really wanted to capture every moment of their day, that’s where a second photographer really comes in handy. Everything was just as relaxed and energy filled for the groomsmen too. Some wedding prep, a shave and a couple of beers with a whole lot of laughter and they were ready to go. I may be simplifying a little, but that’s just how relaxed everybody was.
The details are you.
Before moving on to the ceremony I just have to share some of the little details from Pamela and Peter’s wedding. From rings, glassware and a cake piñata, they really did put a lot into the personal touches throughout their day.
The most beautiful twilight ceremony. Outdoors. A dream come true.
Look, I want to write lots of sentences here. But let’s not worry this time around. Just take a look at this ceremony from the Daddy and Daughter first look, to the Bride making way, a confetti aisle walk to the register table. Enjoy.
Portraits on easy mode.
Just like 99% of the couples that enquire, Pamela and Peter wanted group portraits as well as a relaxed and natural couples session. They even brought a bubble gun out to play. I think everyone involved absolutely nailed it.
A smashing good time and a proper shin dig.
Cake piñata. A. Cake. Piñata. I had no idea there was such a thing, and now I want more of the same please. Everybody start hanging a bursting confetti/sweet cake at your wedding.
Dance, dance, dance.
This band were great. Some of you may have heard of them and they certainly didn’t disappoint, The Highpoints. Everybody was up dancing from the get go and it made for some great photo’s.
That golden grail.
You all want it, but sadly not everyone gets it. That golden hour light. Pamela and Peter just got so fortunate with the weather for an outdoor wedding, and mother nature sent them out on a real high.
An amazing day with amazing people.
I hope you’ve enjoyed looking through Pamela and Peter’s absolutely amazing wedding day. I have already heard back front them and the feedback is immensely positive. Thank you for entrusting me with your day.
Cheryl thank you for being a accommodating host to us suppliers as well as the wedding party. It was really appreciated. I cannot forget to mention Arienne of AJ Feather Photography. She did a great job as the second photographer on the day, thank you for your work Ari.
